| This painting was about my friend Lisa who had certain colors she adored. And while i started with those colors, the painting quickly morphed into something else. She being one of my favorite people, the painting became one about my favorite colors together. I thought of her beauty, confidence, and equanimity and the blues, grays and greens appeared on the canvas. | ||
